Annual Events

There’s always something going on at the

Public Library of New London!

Spring

*Friends of the Library Book Sale

Held annually in May.  Great new and used books at amazing prices.  A not-to-miss event!

*Local Author’s Fest

Local authors from our area are invited, every year, to participate in our Local Author’s Fest.

Whether you are an author, an avid reader, a fan of local talent, or a community event connoisseur, please stop by and get to know some great local authors. Hear about their backgrounds and latest releases, support the community, and own original signed copies of authors on the rise. For every book you buy, you will be entered to win a prize in our raffle. This is a great event for the entire family.

Fall

Food for the Holidays
November 15 – December 17

Help us support our community by donating food for the holidays.
We will be partnering with the New London Area Food Pantry.
Please donate canned goods and non-perishable items to the library during our open hours.

Adopt-A-Book

The library’s annual fundraiser is held yearly during winter.  Help the library build its book collection.  We pick out the books, you buy them for the library. We’ll put a bookplate in the front of the book and you can be the first one to check it out!

Socktober

During the month of October, the library collects socks to be donated to the Homeless Hospitality Center.  Socks are very needed but not always donated.  Help us support our community.
