Second Annual Gala for the Public Library of New London

The Public Library is delighted to announce its Second Annual Gala, an elegant evening celebrating community, literacy, and the enduring spirit of learning. The celebration will be held at the Consolidated Club at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London.

Guests will enjoy an exciting silent auction, featuring a wonderful array of items and experiences. In addition, there are meaningful sponsorship opportunities available for businesses and individuals who wish to demonstrate their support for the Library’s vital programs and services. Proceeds from the evening will directly benefit the Library and its mission to serve the entire community.

A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Josie Esposito Award to Edward Charles Murphy — a former New London firefighter and longtime devoted library patron — in recognition of his years of service, dedication, and unwavering support of the Library.

Tickets are available now and may be purchased by clicking the event link. We encourage guests to secure their seats early for what is sure to be an inspiring and festive evening.

Please note: As the event is being held at the United States Coast Guard Academy, all guests must present a valid REAL ID or passport for entry.

We look forward to celebrating with you at this special evening in support of our Library and the community it serves.
