Library of Things
The Library of Things is a non-traditional special collection that patrons can borrow with their library card. It’s a great opportunity to try something before you buy it. Items range from digital equipment to tools, games, and more. Save money and storage space in your home by borrowing occasional use items from the library!
Requesting, Picking Up, and Returning Things
- To borrow an item, you must have a valid CT public library card in good standing.
- Items must be returned to the Circulation Desk.
- Items cannot be placed in a book drop or returned to a library other than The Public Library of New London
Loan Info
- 7-day loan
- No renewals or holds
- $10 a day fine for late returns
Proper Use and Liability
As with all Library materials, the borrower is responsible for the item and will be billed for reasonable replacement costs associated with damage, or loss of items. Patrons must sign a waiver and LOT policy and borrowing agreement before checking out item.
